I’ve enjoyed working with Nick Hedges. He’s a great fella. Nick brings a whole lot of professionalism to our HR piece which was never managed properly in the past. We previously had advoc lawyers or various people giving us advice which always seemed to be incoherent and different depending on who we spoke to. So, Nick’s brought a really good balanced view to our HR and that takes a lot of pressure off myself as Managing Director who’s managed the HR piece along with the General Manager.
He takes pressure off us so that we can focus on the relationship part rather than the compliance and legal requirements of HR which become more diverse and complex everyday…..if you don’t have the size of business that demands a full time HR professional then you should have Nick on your team as it‘s quite cost effective and it does take that pressure off you from the compliance in a whole lot of ways. Nick’s happy to meet with staff and do exit interviews… you name it, whatever is required! That’s a great help to me in my position and the business in general.
